Still Learning and Growing !!!

My computer has been giving me fits lately, so haven't done too much extra.

Just came across a blog I'd like to paraphrase about the value of keeping positive, and determining your own worth.

In a nutshell -- Here's a great quote and my commentary. : "Whenever you need a quick mental & emotional boost today, take a moment to remember these thoughts... :-)

1. To get the most out of today's mood booster, start by taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly...

2. Read the inspiration for the day:

I never give in to the persuasion, manipulation, or demands of others in order to please or to avoid conflict. If it appears that I give in, I am CHOOSING to agree because doing so benefits me for reasons of my OWN.

Remember, if it feels like someone is twisting your arm to do something, even though you know it won't "hurt" you to go along "this time", you're giving your manipulator and YOURSELF the message that they are more important than you are... which is very damaging to your self esteem and has the power to set off a chain reaction of other self defeating behaviors.

3. Close your eyes and repeat the statement to yourself while seeing it, hearing it, and feeling what it feels like applying it in your life TODAY.

That's it! Throughout the day today, notice how this statement just happens to "come up" into your awareness JUST when you need it!
